ahh shoot yeah UGA overlooked WVU...i was totally surprised that the game ended up being as close as it was...it still pisses me off to think that UGA never even adapted to the style of offense that WVU was running even after halftime georgia kept going with the 4-3 defense

They have the first pick of ACC non-BCS teams, but the fourth or fifth pick of SEC teams. I kind of doubt UT will be available.

Wishful thinking that UT and VT will play there. I look for UT to face PSU in the Outback Bowl.

    Re: Bowl Projections

I saw some word out of Knoxville today that the Outback Bowl is very interested in UT.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Gators in the Outback after they lose to Arkansas.

    Re: Bowl Projections

How long has it been since UT even played there?

Two Cotton Bowls, two Peach Bowls, and a Citrus Bowl since 2000.

In 92 they played Boston College in the Hall of Fame Bowl, which I do believe is now called the Outback Bowl. So they haven't played in Tampa in 14 years. Would be a good change of pace.

Like I said in the other thread why would the CFA/Peach want a team that is 1/2 mile away to come to town and play, there would also be no incintive fot GT, if I were on that team and found out I was going to the CFA/Peach I would be one very ticked off son of a gun.

    93. They beat BC. Shuler was the MVP. It was the Hall Of Fame then though.

UF has been to Tampa three times since 02. I would think they wouldn't want the Gayturds in Tampa just like Atlanta shouldn't want UT.

    Re: Bowl Projections

To have GT wouldn't be much different than UGA. GT and UGA would both bring in a ton of locals buying tickets and then to either have UT or VT who both have a great fan following and the Chick and Atlanta makes a lot of money.
